What a week! The sun has been really giving us a dose of (freeee!) Vitamin D these last few days, and is now currently working itself over the Three Peaks which meannnsss…we are finally having more days of sun!
On this weeks blog, we just wanna bring a couple things to your attention for planning out your summer vacation!
First: June, July, August and September still has some great availability for epic waterfront and forested sites! So check out our campground map, look at what sites you like best, and send us an email with your three top choices to book. On next weeks post, we will let everyone know what sites/cabins are still available for this summer!
Second: We are prepared for our fellow campers! The fire-ban, depending on how hot the season starts, is a very probable event. That means no campfires….. but hey!? How are you and your family going to make the traditional s’mores and fire roasted hotdogs!?
So, this year when guests bring their propane fire pit, we are happy to let you know that we sell propane! So no worries about running out because we have it supplied here! Mmmmhhmmm endless s’moorreess!!
Lastly: If any of your guests are subscribers to the “The Sport Fishing Guide” magazine we just recently had a mention!! Echo Lake was considered one of the top locations in the Thompson Okanagan Similkameen for Kokanee fishing, so far the world record for a Kokanee catch is 10lbs. We are challenging our fishing enthusiast guests to bring your rods and boat (or rent one of ours) and attempt to catch yourself the NEXT world record breaker. Anyone close to 10lbs will get their picture taken by Echo Lake Resort and an honourable mention on the blog and our other social media outlets. Hey you never know, maybe we send it to “The Sport Fishing Guide” ??
Anyhow, thats all we have for this week folks! Don’t forget, next week we will post what cabins and sites are still available for the July – August season!!
